Virginia Tech's student chapters of AIChE and SHPE will host the first ever AIChE-SHPE Career Forum Monday, 10/12 to allow engineering students and companies to interact as they seek to fill internship, co-op, and full-time positions. This event gives companies a great opportunity for students to learn more about companies popular amongst engineering students. 

The Career Forum is a presentation session dedicated to companies seeking well-qualified engineers for internships, co-ops, and full-time employment. Attending companies have the opportunity to give informative presentations to an audience of both undergraduate and graduate students. Presentations are followed by an individual networking time.

Due to the situation surrounding the current pandemic, the forum will be held in a virtual format over Hopin, which provides each company with a virtual booth and allows for students and recruiters to interact one-on-one. The software is simple to use, and we will make sure everyone is comfortable using it before the event starts!

Resume Book: At the Career Forum, a resume book is provided to the participating companies. If you would like to be included in this year's resume book, please follow the instructions below: By Thursday, October 8th at Midnight. 

  1. Save your resume as a .pdf file.  

  2. Naming format: LastnameFirstnameResume.pdf 

  3. Email file to: vtaicheresume@gmail.com with the email subject as  <Last Name>, <First Name> : <Fulltime or Co-op>   

Example: My resume would be saved as ArkfeldJaredResume.pdf and the subject of my email would be Arkfeld, Jared : Fulltime .Let me know if you have any questions at virginiatechaiche@gmail.com.
