About the AIChE at VT Undergraduate Mentorship Program

Virginia Tech’s chapter of AIChE is proud to run a mentorship program for interested chemical engineering students. The program has small groups of mentees matched with pairs of mentors who are involved in fields like undergraduate research, internships, or co-ops. These mentors are resources for students to ask questions about higher-level coursework, their specialized interests, or life at Virginia Tech.

Meetings occur every other Thursday, featuring topics like interview preparation, networking, or study tips. Not only are there topics focused on professional development, but there are also social activities for the mentorship program like game and Kahoot nights. This program aims to develop connections between mentees and mentors to build a network and give mentees the opportunity to learn more about chemical engineering as a whole from a student perspective.
